Talking to the journalists here Thursday, Kaira said consultations on the caretaker setup would be held on time and this would not delay general elections.
Everyone has seen the result of political point scoring, he said.
Commenting on dual nationality issue, Kaira said halting dual nationality holders from law making is strange, adding 99 percent candidates had no idea about this while submitting their nomination papers.
The information minister further said dual nationality holders are sitting in judiciary, nuclear asset organizations and foreign office.
