Muhammad Sultan Shah:Toughts! A kick up to Your EVOLUTION ...

As a matter of fact, normally our actions got direct link b/w our thoughts specially while talking ,writing and doing something. Except these, BODY LANGUAGE may be a reflective of our thoughts and mind frame. Apart from this, most of the time our thoughts are not being directly materialized. Our mind is continuously in action while walking, traveling (in lets say bus), waiting for someone, observing various things around us.Our mind is really blowing when we are alone especially at night. Some great things come into mind meanwhile, some unique ideas, solutions to problems or some new questions etc.

Here, the basic point what i am trying to make is that most these thoughts are wasted because not all of us are great concentrators/retrievers(least there is no personality grooming system in place for us) and when we try to recall these things , we are unable to do so thereafter. In this way, we loose some really exciting things that could have changed our lives drastically in a very positive manner.
I think we should materialize our thoughts at the instant when things are being evolved in the mind. We can do it on simple piece of paper. This is one of my great experiences that when i started writing my thoughts and ideas, it soon filled one register page in 15 days or so. Then, when I exposed this to my friends, it was really exciting because so there were tiny flaws in certain things which ‘re being pointed out and few exciting and new questions that challenged up our thinking.
There is an outstanding and range of thinking areas and fields that human mind can cover. Studies, work, Literature or any existing stuff developed (theories, structures or formulations). Remember, nothing is perfect and final and there is always a chance of improvement for various things.
In the similar manner, its better to write your schedules, tasks and plans at your work place early in the morning, and then keep fulfilling and ticking them up rest of the day ‘ll help u managing yourself much much better.
When I compared my normal behavior and the things I wrote down, I realized that there is much more stored inside me than what I am actually contributing to this world now.I would invite all of you to try out this practice because that one line of thought/idea written can produce AMAZING results. The thought and Evolution process can advance up, that can become a major source to learn and produce effective things in life.
I accept, to Explain ideas in words is very difficult, but here I have tried to share one my most beautiful and shining experiences with you people so that it could help raising some important questions or solutions to unsolved issues in our lives and beyo.

xanders-A Hot -Spot For Food Lovers

Amongst this uproar of bistros, a lot of stuff has been brewing while a lot has come to surface making it big. One such place which is small in size but has made it huge is “xander’s”located on the 26 street, clifton .Owned by Mr. sikander, who has very thoughtfully created the whole concept of casual eating place with no high fi décor but a place that radiates sense of freshness and serenity as one walks in. The main door is surrounded by beautiful lignum vitae trees, through a glass present next to them; one can also peer inside the café from the outside. The sitting area has stripes of apple green and white painted walls that compliment the purple cushioned chairs and grey comfy sofas.

For the People who enjoy natural breeze, a seating is also available on the outside.

Xander’s is spectacular in being the only bistro that serves in their menu, all day breakfast. Hence for people who have a thing for omlettes and can’t get up early, then this place is the for you. The Full English breakfast consists of beans, salami, fried egg, hash browns and toast served together. The Mediterranean omlette is something pretty plain to look but with every bite one can taste the rich ingredients inside it. Both are extremely flavorsome. Blueberry pancakes and stuffed French toast are also worth mentioning.

Besides breakfast options, the menu comprises of Sandwiches, burgers, khaosay, salads, desserts, pizza, beverage and coffee. The word is out that this place has the best pizza in town. Made exclusively in a conventional brick pizza oven, that gives it the divine smoky flavor. Smoked chicken jalapeno pizza and pepperoni pizza are my personal favorites. They have a perfect combination of spices, sauce, cheese and meat. Full of interminable relish and savor. A must try for pizza lovers.

Chicken satay is another noteworthy dish, served with garlic rice. Then the much talked about prawn open face sandwich, not something that I enjoyed or would recommend. A little too strong in taste but the honey mustard chicken sandwich is very appetizing and so is the old school cheese burger.

Never the less, when it comes to desserts double fudge brownie served with ice cream is delectably mouth watering .Although a place for food but it majors in desserts too. I can guarantee for the taste in being the most different when compared to any new restaurant.

The owner has managed to hire well behaved, educated waiters who understand the customers demand and put forward the right recommendation. The price range is between RS600 to 800 perhead. It caters to the young and old both.

One good thing about this place is that it not only caters to the food needs of the people but also is a look out for all the fashionistas. This small place has a designer gallery located inside that consists of clothes by topnotch designers.

Three reasons why a trip here is a must:
1.Best pizza, 2. Ambiance,  3. Best breakfast

100-year-old Frenchman sets 100-km cycling record

LYON: A French centenarian on Friday set a record for the fastest 100-year-old to cycle 100 kilometres (62 miles) and said he had outdone himself.
Robert Marchand, an amateur cyclist who claims to have clocked tens of thousands of kilometres in the saddle, finished the distance in 4 hours, 17 minutes and 27 seconds.
"I did a little better than I hoped," he said. "However the going was tough in the last few kilometres."
Marchand, who has lived in Canada and Venezuela and whose professional life has included stints as a market gardener, shoe salesman and wine dealer, said he only took to cycling when he bought his first bike in 1978.

Chinese man warned after in-flight door mistake

HONG KONG: A Chinese man needed to be restrained after he tried to open the emergency exit thinking it was the toilet door during a flight to Hong Kong, an airline said Friday.
Crew of the Hong Kong Airlines flight from Bali, Indonesia, were shocked to see the 52-year-old man rise from his seat halfway through the journey and start pulling on the emergency door handle, the airline said.
The door failed to open and crew stepped in to physically restrain the man, who was identified only by his surname Peng.
"When the police questioned him after landing, he said he thought it was the toilet door, since this was the first time he had traveled on an aircraft," an airline spokeswoman said.
The company issued the man a warning letter but police are not pursuing the case, she said. (AFP)

Lady Gaga sends Paris new rap song

PARIS: Lady Gaga has sent a musical message to the Paris fashion crowd on Wednesday night, giving a preview of her first rap song at the Mugler show by Nicola Formichetti, who is also her personal stylist.
Entitled "Cake", the track -- on which the diva's voice is barely recognisable -- has been doing the rounds on the Internet for the past 10 days, but the star had yet to acknowledge it as her own.
The song's highly offensive lyrics led Slate.com to write last week that it hoped Gaga -- if confirmed as the author -- was acting tongue-in-cheek, in order "to highlight the awfulness of certain rap lyrics."
Gaga was in Paris last week for her first concert in the country but was not at the late-night Mugler show -- she was performing in Zurich at the time.
For his new spring-summer collection, Formichetti

Actor Johnny Lewis found dead in Los Angeles, suspected in killing

LOS ANGELES: Former "Sons of Anarchy" actor Johnny Lewis was found dead on Wednesday in a Los Angeles neighborhood where he was suspected of killing an 81-year-old woman whom he may have been renting a room from, police said on Thursday.
Police received a call Wednesday morning about a screaming woman in the affluent Los Feliz neighborhood and responded to find Catherine Davis dead in her home, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Cleon Joseph.
Joseph said Lewis, 28, was also dead in the home's driveway after either falling or jumping off the roof.
The officer said the circumstances around the deaths were still being investigated on Thursday.
"Detectives believe that he may have committed the murder," Joseph said of Lewis, adding that the motive was unknown.
Lewis had a supporting role in the first two seasons of "Sons of Anarchy," a television drama featuring an outlaw motorcycle club. He played Kip "Half Sack" Epps, an Iraq War veteran who hangs out with the biker club featured in the show.
The Los Angeles-born Lewis previously had recurring roles in the TV shows "Boston Public" and "The O.C." (Reuters)

India's Oscars entry draws copycat flak

MUMBAI: India's entry for best foreign language film at next year's Oscars has become the latest Bollywood movie to draw flak for allegedly plagiarising foreign hits in a 'mash-up' of ripped-off scenes.
"Barfi!" has won over critics and cinema-goers for its portrayal of a love triangle between a deaf man named Barfi and two women, one of whom is autistic -- not typical subject matter in the prolific Hindi-language film industry.
But since its release two weeks ago, several videos have spread through YouTube and social media sites highlighting a number of scenes that appear to draw heavily from international classics.
Film buffs spotted stark resemblances with clips from Gene Kelly's hit "Singin' in the Rain" (1952), Jackie Chan's "Project A" (1983), Buster Keaton's "Cops" (1922) and "The Notebook" (2004) starring Ryan Gosling among others.
The plot has been likened to "Benny & Joon", the 1993 film starring Johnny Depp, while the soundtrack has drawn further comparisons with the musical score from "Amelie", the 2001 hit starring Audrey Tautou.
One of the clearest sources of inspiration is Charlie Chaplin: one scene shows Barfi dodging a policeman through a sliding door, just as the king of silent film did in 1917's "The Adventurer".
"Barfi!" director Anurag Basu has hit back at critics, saying the film is intentionally paying homage to Chaplin in a similar way to "The Artist", the black-and-white silent film that won Best Picture at this year's Oscars.
"If I would have changed the shot, twisted things around and made it my own it would have been stealing," Basu told the Indian TV show Headlines Today.
"I did shot-to-shot because they are famous iconic shots and scenes from famous masterpieces, every filmmaker knows them."
Bollywood has come under fire before for remaking Hollywood flicks in the Hindi language, but "Barfi!" is under particular scrutiny because the movie-mad country is yet to win an Oscar in the foreign film category.
"So why would an Oscar jury pick a movie that reminds them of the very many movies they've seen before -- and which include films that are now Hollywood legend?" asked online magazine Firstpost.
In one of several earlier Bollywood copycat rows, US studio 20th Century Fox submitted a $1.4-million claim in 2009 against BR Films over "Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai", alleging it was an illegal remake of "My Cousin Vinny". The case was settled out of court.
Image consultant Dilip Cherian worried that entering "Barfi!" into the Oscars could cause embarrassment for India in the long-run.
"The fact is that critics will start wondering at which stage does plagiarism end in Indian movies and at what stage is it inspiration," he told Headlines Today.
Only three Indians films have been shortlisted in the foreign film category at the Oscars: "Mother India" in 1958, "Salaam Bombay!" (Hello Bombay!) in 1989, and "Lagaan" (Land Tax) in 2002.
Manju Borah, who chairs India's selection committee, defended the latest choice.
"We selected 'Barfi!' because of its treatment and freshness," she told the Hindustan Times. "In any case, every filmmaker is inspired by some cinema."
Film critic and curator Meenakshi Shedde said an "affectionate tribute" to world cinema, such as "Barfi!", was not the same as stealing someone's ideas -- but she doubted for other reasons whether the film was the best selection.
"The criteria the Oscars look for is something uniquely Indian. Something that offers insights into the culture or society," Shedde told.

T20 Super Eights: Watson, Cummins restrict India to 140-7

COLOMBO: Shane Watson and Pat Cummins shared five wickets as Australia restricted India to 140-7 in a group two Super Eights match of the World Twenty20 in Colombo on Friday.
Watson finished with 3-34 to lead Australia's bowling attack after Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat on a slow wicket at the Premadasa stadium.
Makeshift opener Irfan Pathan top-scored with 31, while Suresh Raina boosted the total towards the end with 26 off 19 balls.
Raina put on 30 for the sixth wicket with Dhoni and 33 for the seventh with Ravichandran Ashwin, who remained unbeaten on 16 off 12 balls.
India dropped seasoned opener Virender Sehwag to play five specialist bowlers, including three spinners, and sent all-rounder Pathan to open the innings with Gautam Gambhir.
Pathan hit two fours and a six, but India lost three wickets in seven balls to slip from a comfortable 70-2 to 74-5.
Watson claimed two wickets in one over, forcing Yuvraj Singh to hole out in the deep before getting Pathan caught in the covers.
In the first match of the double-header earlier on Friday, Pakistan beat South Africa by two wickets after making 133-6 in the first innings. (AFP)

World T20: Pakistan seek to nudge India towards exit

COLOMBO: Pakistan will look to extend their dominant form and put India on the brink of elimination when the old foes clash in the World Twenty20 on Sunday.
Pakistan have never beaten India in either the 50-over World Cup or the World Twenty20, but Mohammad Hafeez's men start as favourites in the much-awaited Super Eights game in Colombo.
Pakistan are the team in form, winning both matches in the preliminary league before stunning top-ranked South Africa by two wickets in their first Super Eights game on Friday.
In contrast, Australia annihilated India by nine wickets later the same evening, leaving Mahendra Singh Dhoni's men needing to beat Pakistan and South Africa to stay in contention for the semi-finals.
But if Australia beat South Africa and Pakistan defeat India in Sunday's double-header, both winners will advance to the semi-finals from what was billed as the "group of death".
Pakistan seamer Umar Gul, an unlikely hero with the bat against South Africa with a power-packed 32 off 17 balls, said: "When we play India there is lot of pressure because our people always want us to win.
"The same is the case in India, so there will be pressure on both teams.
"Anything can happen. We will give it our best shot. India is a very good team, but we know each other's strong and weak points. In T20 it all depends on how a team plays on that day."
India, winners of the inaugural World Twenty20 in South Africa in 2007, failed to win even one Super Eights game in the next two editions, in England in 2009 and the Caribbean in 2010.
Skipper Dhoni, however, put a positive spin on his team's do-or-die scenario ahead of the sold-out game at the 35,000-capacity Premadasa Stadium.
"It is always good to be in a situation where you have to win every game," he said. "There is no scope for complacency and that is a good thing. You have to be at your best throughout.
"Hopefully we can go out and express ourselves without worrying too much about the result."
India and Pakistan have played just two official Twenty20 internationals against each other, both during the 2007 tournament.
The league match in Durban ended in a tie before India won the bowl-out. The two sides met again in the final in Johannesburg, which India won by five runs in the final over.
Before the current showpiece started, Pakistan defeated India by five wickets in a practice match in Colombo on September 17, with Kamran Akmal smashing an unbeaten 92 off 50 balls.
Pakistan, chasing India's commanding 185-3, slipped to 91-5 before Akmal and former captain Shoaib Malik turned the game around with a brilliant unbroken stand of 95 off 46 balls.
Akmal plundered six sixes, including the winning shot off seamer Irfan Pathan which sailed over the cover fence. Malik remained unbeaten on 37 off 18 balls.
Cricket ties between the neighbours, suspended after the Mumbai attacks in 2008, are set to resume in December when Pakistan tour India for three one-dayers and two Twenty20 games.

Floods kill six in southern Spain: officials

VILLANUEVA DEL TRABUCO: At least six people, including a young girl and an elderly woman, died Friday as floods in southern Spain overturned cars and forced hundreds to flee their homes, officials said.
At least 600 people had to be evacuated from their homes in the Andalusia region, with some forced to take refuge on their roofs as torrential rains caused rivers to break their banks, flooding roads and rail routes.
By early Saturday, the storms were moving east towards the port of Valencia.
A woman in her 80s died early Friday when a river breached its banks and floodwater swept past her home in Alora, north of Malaga, a regional government spokesman told.
According to provincial officials, two others died later in the same Andalusia region, while three others were killed in the neighbouring region of Murcia, including a 10-year-old girl.
In the village of Villanueva del Trabuco, roads were covered in brown floodwater and teams were working to unearth cars while locals swept the muddy pavements.
"In Malaga province, there are 800 staff working to return things to normal as quickly as possible," said emergency services spokeswoman Pilar Limon.
"The rains are decreasing and seem to be shifting towards Granada and Almeria" further east, she added.
The state weather agency AEMET said up to 245 litres (65 gallons) of water per square metre (11 square feet) had fallen in the area in the morning alone.
Airports authority AENA said a flight was diverted to Seville as it headed to Malaga, which lies east of the resort city of Marbella on the Costa del Sol, a popular tourist haven.
At least two major highways were closed, authorities said.
In the neighbouring southeastern region of Murcia, a highway bridge collapsed in the heavy rains, national television TVE reported.
Valencia's port authorities ordered the port closed early Saturday as the storms approached. A tornado there swept though the city, injuring 35 people, according to Spanish media.

Two dead in Indonesian air show crash

JAKARTA: A light aircraft burst into flames after hitting a building during an air show in Indonesia on Saturday, killing both the pilots, the transport ministry said.
Television footage showed a thick plume of smoke rising from the crash site in Bandung in western Java, where the air show was held to commemorate the city's 202nd anniversary.
"A Cessna 202 plane lost altitude during a manoeuvre and crashed into a building at 11:37 am (0437 GMT) with two pilots on board, who were both killed instantly," transport ministry spokesman Bambang Ervan told.
Indonesia has a poor aviation safety record and is in the process of updating its ageing military aircraft and equipment, procuring Russian and American warplanes, boats for its navy and parts for its transport planes.
A New Zealand pilot and two Indonesians were killed in March when a helicopter chartered by the local arm of US mining company Freeport-McMoRan crashed in the remote Papua province.

11th hurt in 'Qaeda' suicide attack in south Yemen

ADEN: A suicide bomber blew himself up at the entrance to a hospital in Abyan province of southern Yemen on Saturday, wounding 11 people, employees at the facility said.
The attacker, who was torn apart by the blast, appeared to have activated the explosives prematurely before reaching the waiting room of the hospital in the town of Loder, said one employee.
An official at the hospital who declined to be named said the attack was carried out by Al-Qaeda. The apparent target was a local leader, Mohammed Aydarus, formerly of the Popular Resistance Committees, a reserve force which backed an all-out army offensive in Abyan province against Al-Qaeda in mid-June.
Aydarus was in the hospital at the time of the attack but escaped unharmed, said the official.
Al-Qaeda loyalists have carried out a spate of deadly attacks against security forces and their militia allies since President Abdrabuh Mansur Hadi came to power earlier this year pledging to crush the militants.

Courts give verdicts within constitutional framework: CJ

KARACHI: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that the courts make all decisions within the framework of constitution and could not at all digress from it.
When the decisions were not made in accordance with the constitution, then neither the democracy nor the parliament survived.
Talking to a delegation of Karachi Bar Association (KBA) led by its president Mahmoodul Hassan, CJP Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said that the lawyers were most affected in the May 12 and April 9 incidents. He said that the KBA played a major role in suo moto action taken on law and order of the city, when the Bars became proactive, then the courts also give good decisions.
CJP said that Balochistan issue was under hearing in the court, not much could be said about it. The petition relating to Balochistan issue came from the Bar, which was surprising, but a good move.

Musharraf A/Cs: Rawalpindi trial court reserves judgment

RAWALPINDI: The trial court Saturday here after completion of hearing reserved the judgment on the petition for the de-freezing of the accounts of former President General (retd.) Pervez Musharraf, whose accounts were earlier frozen in former prime minister Benazir Bhutto murder case.
Pervez Musharraf’s wife Begum Sehba Musharraf had filed the petition in the anti-terrorist court here for de-freezing of the accounts, which included 7 personal accounts of Pervez Misharraf and 4 others.
FIA arguing against the restoration of the accounts said that Sehba Musharraf didn’t have her own source of income and the balance amount of the joint account also belongs to Musharraf. Pervez Musharraf is a proclaimed offender and unless he comes here to surrender, the petition for restoration of accounts cannot be entertained, argued the FIA.
Sehba Musharraf’s counsel concluding his argument said that any joint account without proper enquiry could not be frozen.
Later, the court pronounced the completion of the hearing on the petition, but reserved the judgment. The court also approved the submission of some more documents by the petitioner’s counsel. The reserved judgment is expected to be announced on October 3.

Karachi: Thousands rally against US anti-Islam film

KARACHI: Thousands of people thronged the streets of the biggest city of Karachi on Saturday in the latest protest against a US-made anti-Islam film posted on the internet and the sacrilegious caricatures published in a French magazine Saturday, Geo News reported.
The protesters wore green and white headbands as they marched through the city's main MA Jinnah road while some trampled on the American flag.
People from different areas carrying green flags gathered at Numaish intersection to become part of the rally from where they marched towards the Tibet Centre under the leadership of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
The religious parties participating in the rally included Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP), Jamaat -e- Ahle Sunnat, Pakistan Sunni Tahrik (PST), Sunni Ittehad Council, Sunni Rehbar Council, ANI and other Sunni organizations.
They chanted slogans including "Hang the American film maker" and "We are ready to sacrifice our lives for the honour of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH)"."We strongly condemn this anti-Islam movie, it is a criminal act," Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, a prominent religious leader told the rally, and called for a global ban on insulting "all prophets and messengers".
A senior police officer in Karachi, said there were "at least 15,000" protesters while rally organisers claimed "millions of people" participated.
Police beefed up security before the rally, while paramilitary forces were also deployed.
The crudely-made "Innocence of Muslims" movie has sparked angry and at times violent demonstrations across the globe.
Pakistan experienced the worst of the violence last Friday when nationwide rallies mobilised more than 45,000.
At least 21 people were killed and 229 wounded, mainly in clashes with police.
Pakistan Sunni Tahrik (PST) Saturday morning said that the Sindh Governor, Dr Ishratul Ebad had allowed taking out peaceful rally in a telephonic conversation with the PST chief Sarwar Ejaz Qadri.
It may be recalled that earlier Sindh government has banned all sorts of rallies in the city and has imposed Section 144 for three days, while PST vowed that come what may, they would take out a peaceful rally in the city on Saturday.
PST chief had appealed to the public to fully participate in the rally being taken out on MA Jinnah Road in protest against the anti-Islam film.

PTI’s popularity goes down, ML-N’s up: Survey

KARACHI: Pakistan Tahrik-e-Insaf (PTI), which was near the peak of its popularity graph, has gone down, while ML-N has taken over the top position.
This has been revealed by the International Republican Institute (IRI) Survey, which was conducted by taking the opinions of six thousand persons from different segments of the society about political parties and the public problems during July-August period.
To a question if elections for the national assembly are held next week, then which party would they vote for?
28 percent of the people replied that they would vote for ML-N, 24 percent for PTI, 14 percent for PPP and 3 percent for MQM.
If this compared with the IRI February survey results, then the ML-N’s popularity has increased by 3.7 percent, while the PTI’s popularity has sharply dropped down by 22.6 percent and that of PPP by 12.5 percent.
The replies to this very question if taken province-wise then ML-N is on the top in Punjab, as 43 percent people have said they would vote for ML-N, 27 percent for PTI and 7 percent for PPP. As against last February survey, here also ML-N support has surged, as their voters rose to 43 percent from 41 percent, while PTI’s came down to 27 percent from 33 percent and those of PPP dropped to 7 percent from 9 percent.
79 percent people vowed to cast their votes in the next elections, 12 percent people don’t want to vote, while 6 percent are not yet fully ready.

Caretaker government on March 18: Kaira

ISLAMABAD: The caretaker government would be set up on March 18, 2013, said Federal Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira, Geo News reported.
Talking to the journalists here Thursday, Kaira said consultations on the caretaker setup would be held on time and this would not delay general elections.
Everyone has seen the result of political point scoring, he said.
Commenting on dual nationality issue, Kaira said halting dual nationality holders from law making is strange, adding 99 percent candidates had no idea about this while submitting their nomination papers.
The information minister further said dual nationality holders are sitting in judiciary, nuclear asset organizations and foreign office.
